If I Had Something To Say

This work grew out of a previous one. The artist had a stage in which she painted household items, isolated things that seemed solitary, but that seemed to hold many secrets, a lot of life and moments kept around her. That initial lamp needed to have more information this time. From the version of the cow that laughs, that she doesn’t need to say anything because her laugh is everything, to the pinup girl that puts on makeup and she doesn’t need to speak either because her image will say everything. Very small, almost imperceptible, distributed throughout the table, positions that are occupied in a company. In those stalls many times people talk without really having anything to say, too much straw. This painting is framed by the artist with black painted wooden slats: but if desired they can be removed and the painting is also ready to hang and enjoy.
